Introduction To Halo 3
Halo 3 is the third and supposedly final Halo game in the trilogy. It is set just after the events of Halo 2, as the Master Chief is crashing into earth on the Prophet Of Truth's Forerunner ship, The Dreadnought. At the begginning of the game, the chief is supposedly dead, after crashing from hundreds of feet in the air into the ground. Just as Johnson and his squad are about to call for heavy lift gear though, the Chief Grabs Johnsons arm and pulls himself back up. thus begins Halo 3. The game is about finishing the fight, trying to stop the Prophet Of Regret and The Flood at the same time. The game has made millions, and until recently, when Call of Duty: World At War was released, held the title of game played most on Xbox Live. As well as the campaign and online multiplayer, the game boasted a theatre mode, where you could take screenshots and videos of the games you have played, and a Forge mode, a immensly popular feature which allows you to edit multiplayer maps and then upload them online for other players to use. It is unknown at this time whether or not a Halo 4 will be released, but as the game ends on a cliffhanger, there is speculation there will be one. A campaign expansion which has nothing to do with the Chief has been confirmed, where you play as an ODST marine in the city of new mombasa. This is due to be released for fall 2009.
